The obverse (heads side) design of this Ayn Rand Silver Medallion features a portrait of Ayn Rand.  Inscriptions are AYN RAND and OBJECTIVISM  (a comprehensive philosophy for a happy and productive life on earth).  

The reverse (tails) design features the covers of Ayn Rand's works of fiction: ANTHEM, WE THE LIVING  and THE FOUNTAINHEAD.  Rand's hand is depicted holding a pen and writing WHO IS JOHN GALT  (from Atlas Shrugged). The inscriptions around the edge represent the five branches of Objectivism: A is A (metaphysics), REASON  (epistemology), EGOISM  (ethics), CAPITALISM  (politics) and ROMANTICISM  (aesthetics).  Also imprinted is 1OZ FINE SILVER.
